From New York fireworks to Honolulu sunsets. The view changes, the principles don't.

This is my second 4th of July watching fireworks over the Pacific instead of the Hudson. Splitting time between offices in New York and Honolulu has given me a fresh appreciation for something I already believed: great wealth management isn't about a zip code, it's about a framework. Whether I'm sitting down with a partner at a Manhattan law firm or a business owner here in Hawaii, the questions tend to be the same. How do we build a portfolio that reflects your full balance sheet, not just the brokerage account? How do we keep it tax-efficient? And how do we prepare for what markets, AI-driven infrastructure demand, and inflation might do next? If you're rethinking your plan this summer or just want a second opinion from someone who works across both coasts, I'd welcome the conversation.
